Never use this while nursing!

Nursing delivers a banquet of powerful, beneficial substances to growing babies. Some medicines are safe to take when nursing; others are dangerous. Nicotine is dangerous! Second-hand smoke is bad enough for babies. Now we learn, according to the July 1999 issue of the Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, that a smoking moms deliver 5 times more nicotine to her babies if she breastfeeds. If you were able to stop smoking for your baby during pregnancy, keep it up during nursing!
