Horizon Organic in Support of Family Farms

Willie Nelson, while accepting another large check from Horizon President Mike Ferry, expressed heartfelt gratitude and urged the crowd at the 25th Farm Aid concert to appreciate Horizon Organic and its many years of strong support for this important cause. Horizon runs two farms of its own, but the great majority of its milk comes from over 500 family farms spread across the United States.

On stage, along with Willie, Mike and his son Jack, are 4th generation dairy farmers Harvey and Connie Frasier and their daughter Connie Louise, winners of this year’s HOPE award, given to farmers and their families who demonstrate a long-term commitment to and passion for organic agriculture. They’ve been certified organic and shipping to Horizon Organic for a decade.
