- ½ pound extra-lean ground round
½ pound lean ground turkey breast
2 stalks celery, finely chopped
2 medium carrots, finely chopped

1 28-ounce diced or crushed tomatoes
1 6-ounce cans tomato paste

- Combine ground beef, ground turkey, carrots, garlic, and onion in a 3-½ quart slow cooker. Stir well.
