Savory Spanish Mushrooms Recipe

Quick and Easy Sauteed Mushrooms

A veggie side dish you’re sure to love.

  1. 1 pound mushrooms, whole
    1 medium onion, chopped
    dash garlic powder
    1/4 cup grape seed oil (or butter if you eat butter)
    1/2 cup red peppers, chopped
    1 teaspoon oregano
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    dash pepper
    parsley sprigs


    1. Wash and slice mushrooms.
    2. Saute onions with garlic in butter for about 5 minutes.
    3. Add mushrooms, red pepper and oregano and cook 6 to 8 minutes more, season with salt and pepper.
    4. Cook mushrooms only until tender.
    5. Garnish with parsley.
    6. Serve as a side dish.
