These yams are gentle on the tummy and good enough to become a love food!

Tip: I use a jelly roll pan to roast vegetables so they have maximum cooking surface and don’t roll off the edge.

  1. 3 cups Fresh Yams, Washed
    1 Sweet Red Onion
    2 teaspoons Olive Oil
    1 tablespoon Soy Sauce

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Peel yams and sweet red onion.
    3. Cut yams and sweet red onion into 2 inch cubes (bite size) and brush lightly with olive oil.
    4. Place yams and onions on baking sheet or jelly roll pan.  The sides of the jelly roll pan prevent the yams from falling off the sides.
    5. Roast the vegetables for 30 minutes or until tender.
    6. Sprinkle with soy sauce if desired.
    7. Serve.
