Pizza Stone

productreviews-pizzastone.jpg

We normally think of pizza as a high-fat, low nutrition food. But it doesn't need to be that way!

We love to add fresh vegetables from our garden (or from the farmer's market or the CSA or even the grocery store :-)) Some of our favorite additions are corn cut off the cob in big thick ribbons, fresh dug potatoes thinly sliced, and whole leaves of basil. Go heavy on the red sauce (lycopene is really good for you) and light on the cheese (great protein source, but you don't need as much as most pizza's have).

Bake your pizza on a stone to give it a nice, crisp crust making the whole experience totally different from delivery pizza.

Ciao!
