David Ryan Polgar

David Ryan Polgar is trying to change our relationship with technology. With a background as an attorney and college professor, Polgar examines our evolving tech use from an ethical, legal, and emotional perspective. Often referred to as a Tech Ethicist, he approaches our complex struggle with balancing technology in a multidisciplinary fashion.

A frequent tech commenter in the media, his business insight and exploration into future trends has been featured in The Boston Globe, Financial Times, SiriusXM, HuffPost Live, Entrepreneur.com, Forbes.com, and more. He has given two TEDx talks, and is a regular speaker concerning ways to embrace technology without feeling engulfed by it.

Polgar is a contributor to the Family Online Safety Institute, iKeepSafe, and The Good Men Project, along with Copilot Family —a startup offering parents better control of their child’s tech use.
