When children reach their teen years, they are certain that they know more than their parents. Sometimes that’s hard to take, especially when we look back through the eyes of our own experience and see the mistakes they are about to make. We want to tell them just to take our word for it and follow in our footsteps. It would make their lives so much easier. Or would it? It’s helpful to remind ourselves that being a teen is very different from raising a teen. Dr. Greene’s Teen and Adolescent Center is here to help.
