Jori Bogetz MD
Pediatric Physician Expert
Dr. Jori Bogetz comes from a family of five and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. When she went to the University of California, San Diego for college, she took up surfing and majored in Philosophy. Jori was also awarded a Howard Hughes Science Enrichment Internship to study antibiotic analogs as an undergraduate. After college, Jori spent two years doing immunology research at The Burnham Institute, a non-profit research organization in San Diego. She felt very honored to attend the University of California, Los Angeles for medical school from 2004-2008 where she was awarded membership in the Delta Chapter of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical society and also met her incredible husband.
Jori is currently a pediatric resident at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford University and appreciates the opportunity to take care of children in the area where she is from. She also co-chairs the resident special interest group through the Academic Pediatric Association. Jori’s interests in pediatrics include palliative care, medical education, the impact of chronic disease on families, nutrition, international health and childhood development.
