Hot Oriental Cabbage Salad Recipe

Serve with chicken, beef, fish, or brown rice or serve alone.  Simply delicious.

  1. 1 ½ cups green cabbage, coarsely chopped
    1 ½ cups red cabbage, coarsely chopped
    2 cups julienned carrots
    ½ cup julienned red bell pepper
    ½ cup julienned yellow bell pepper
    2-3 cloves minced garlic
    ½ cup green onions, chopped
    2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    1 teaspoon toasted sesame seed oil
    4 tablespoons Yoshida’s Original Gourmet Sauce or low-sodium soy sauce
    1/3-teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)


    1. Place a large nonstick skillet over high heat and coat with butter-flavored nonstick spray.
    2. Add cabbage, carrots and peppers to pan and stir-fry for 3 to 5 minutes.
    3. Stir in garlic, onions and cayenne pepper; cook for 3 minutes.
    4. Remove pan from heat and add Yoshida’s Original Gourmet Sauce or soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil and toasted sesame seed oil.
    5. Stir thoroughly until completely coated.
