Clearing the Slate

Clearing the Slate

We have come to the end of our week together. How is this possible when we have only just begun?

The main take home lesson is to remember when the chaos of day-to-day life threatens to turn your life into a spinning circle and you start to feel like you have lost yourself in the mix, give yourself permission to enter your space. Let your mind go blank, allow yourself to just be.

Take the time to practice clearing your slate, and be patient with yourself as you allow your Center to once again return to you.

It is amazing how healing even 5 minutes a day in your space can be. 5 minutes out of a day that has 24 hours – you can do this. You can take the time to reconnect with yourself, and in doing so you will find that you are reconnecting with others.

This week we have touched on just one tiny point, but it is a beginning and everyone has to start somewhere so let this be your start. Give yourself permission!

Sunday is Mother’s Day. It would not be right if I did not mention it – but truth be told Mother’s Day is a very painful time for me.  My own mom died several years ago, and to be honest I have been flailing ever since.

I am trying to learn to live without a mother. It is hard.

My own children will need me to be present on Sunday, and for them I will be, smile and all, but in between the visits I know I will be using ‘my’ space a lot.

Like you, I have moments when I cannot find my center and struggle without it.

So as our time together draws to a close let me take a moment to thank you for allowing me to be a part of your week. I hope this week has helped you in starting the journey to finding your own Center and that you will move forward and have a wonderful weekend and a very happy Mother’s Day!
