A research study published in the Journal of Adolescent Health noted research that girls who eat regular family meals in a structured positive environment are less likely to exhibit disordered eating behaviors. Mealtime should be positive. If your daughter sees you hunching over the sink with a diet coke and a bag of chips, there’s no doubt she’ll do the same... and feel the same.
