Rocky Mountain Organic Meats

You may have seen Dr. Greene's wonderful article in Glamour Magazine this month entitled "5 Foods Every Woman Should Eat Organic ". Number 5 is beef. I've often heard him say, "If you eat beef, make it organic." Although I am a vegetarian several members of my family are not. So on those occasions when I do serve meat to my family I choose Rocky Mountain Organic Meats which come from a wonderful, organic, grass fed beef.

I just love the guy who owns the herd. He's a live-on-the-land, treat-the-cows-right, give-the-next-generation-healthy-food, kind of guy. The cows spend their lives roaming and grazing the hills of Wyoming. They travel as a group and live the life most cows only dream of.

Rocky Mountain Cuts sells directly to individuals. The meat is shipped frozen the day it became meat (not cow). I like that the portions are small -- the only way red meat should be eaten, and I also like knowing that when you buy ground beef, it all comes from one cow, not an untold number that is a recipe for contamination.

Rocky Mountain Organic Meats is available online at Amazon.com
