I first heard about the board game Quelf while in a chat with Dr. Greene when he was talking about this board game that he had played with the family the night before, and how he has never had so much fun playing a board game before. 

Not long after this time I received the gift of laughter from a dear friend in the mail for Christmas. With it being the holiday season things were very busy here so the game sat on the shelf. Then on New Year’s day I pulled the game off the shelf while my eldest daughter and her husband were here visiting. I called in the 18 year old teen to come and play with us, and much to his better judgment of playing a board game with the old folks he complied – and is now one of Quelf's biggest fans.

From the moment the first card was pulled from the deck until the lid was put back on the box after the second game we laughed until we could not stand it anymore. Seriously this game was just to fun, and so very full of those deep belly laughs. So much so, that everyone that played had sore abs the next day. Talk about a good ab workout, and without the cost expensive exercise equipment! 

Since that first night of playing Quelf we have played this board game several times with the same results. Each time you play it is like the first time. I just have to mention the word Quelf and everyone starts to giggle, and are ready for yet another game.

So if you are looking for some good wholesome fun, complete with tears streaming down your face, and deep belly laughs then this game is for you. This game would also make a great gift for those hard to buy for people, including the teens. After all what better gift than the gift of laughter, and hey they just might invite you to play!
