Hi Dr. Greene, My daughter is 4 and is definitely a handful. When she can't get her way she screams and cries as if someone is killing her. At preschool when she's upset she will run outside away from her teachers and she has been known to quite frequently throw chairs, stools and other objects in the classroom. No discipline works for her. None. I'm at my wits end and I know we need professional help. According to your blog entry it appears that she may have ODD and ADHD, but I don't know really how to tell. When she's not angry she's an angel, but if she gets angry or is told "No" for anything she's out of control. The last time I spoke with her doctor about this he said her behavior was "normal". This doesn't seen normal to me, but I don't know what to do next? What kind of doctor does she need? Is there a test for ADHD?
