I'm a marathon runner, who has trained through 4 pregnancies & highly recommend lots of exercise throughout pregnancy. It's given me quick, relatively easy deliveries & allowed me to drop the weight within weeks. Almost more importantly, my children were born leaner & continue to be lean many years later --despite my family's heritage of diabetes & obesity. So do yourself & your baby a favor & lots of cardiovascular exercise!
