These are great tips, thanks. We are planning a long journey this summer and I want to make sure I am fully prepared to prevent a repeat of what happened last year (its a long story, best not repeated).

We are thinking about using a car company as our car is going to be at the garage. This has reminded me that I need to buy a sunshade and make sure that our child seat will fit in what ever vehicle we end up with!
