Try different methods of feeding them to her. My daughter will eat puree off a spoon but not diced chunks of foods. I could put pieces of the same food on the spoon or on her tray and she would refuse it on the spoon but go crazy eating it with her hands. For purees, you can try to spoon feed her or perhaps the squeeze pouches, like Happy Baby...she may be open to sucking out of the package like a straw. (Although it IS weird to see my daughter suck down the equivalent of a jar of puree in about a minute flat...) Just a thought!
Breastfeeding is one of the best gifts you can give your baby. Here are five tips for making it as easy as possible:
Be Good to Yourself -- The frequency of feeds varies as your baby grows. Early on feeding may be very frequent. Later, your baby may not need to feed as often, but no matter the frequency, it can take a lot of moms’ time and energy. While breastfeeding, be especially good to yourself and realize that during this window in time the most important thing you are doing is caring for your baby. Everything else can wait.
