My 3 year daughter wakes up most nights with confusional arousals 2-3 hours after going to bed. These episodes commenced after she was potty trained and started refusing to take an afternoon nap. I found (independently from reading your article), that it does help to shorten the episode if I immediately enter her room, pick her up and take her to the bathroom – she verbally may complain, but as soon as she’s on the potty, she goes. I usually have to lay next to her until she starts sleeping again - typically the episodes last 10 minutes or less. Still, very annoying and I wish I could get her to take naps again :(
You may not see an immediate improvement, but if you are going to successfully treat eczema, it is important to break the cycle! Click here to find out how.
