Today is election day in most parts of the United States. Analysts expect this may be the lowest voter turnout ever. I hope that parents will defy the general trend and make a trip to the polls, even though juggling time is as tough for busy parents as it is for anybody. As you set an example for your kids today by voting, and by discussing voting with them, consider how your choices will affect your children and theirs. I love the Great Law of the Iroquois Confederacy, which has been adopted by Seventh Generation home products: "In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations." Vote for your children.
