Once a career musician performing in the late 90’s hottest girl bands, Gina Crosley-Corcoran found a new passion in life after the birth of her first son in 2006. An unplanned cesarean coupled with breastfeeding and bonding issues led
Gina to become an advocate for natural birth, VBAC, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, and reproductive justice. She is a pre-law student at Loyola University Chicago with a long term focus on Health Law & Policy. Gina is also a writer, a chapter leader for the International Cesarean Awareness Network, and a Certified Childbirth Educator in training. She spends much of her day providing direct mother-to-mother support for women seeking VBAC information through her blog. You can find this rocker chick turned granola mom writing about parenting from a feminist perspective at TheFeministBreeder.com.
Gina lives in Suburban Chicago with her husband John, 2 young sons named Jonas & Jules, and 2 aging cats named Ruthie & Gracie.
