Our daughter, who is 24 years old has a skin condition. She has had something that looks like ringworm on her calf since the beginning of July 2011. It was treated with antifungal meds, and about three weeks later she started to show a rash on her hands. It was itchy and swelled as the days passed. She went to a different doc and he prescribed antifungal meds and steroids. It semed to settle down, and as she finished the first round of antifungal it seemed to get swollen again and cause discomfort with a reddish tint to the skin. It looks very dry and peeling. She is resting between the second antifungal meds. I have been searching online and wondering if we need yet another opinion...
I would appreciate any info that would help.
