toxoplasmosis question

Hello Dr. Green My husband and I wanted to get pregnant for the third time to complete our family. After 6 years thinkinga bout it, we got pregnant. Well, we had a cat who we adopted from pet smart. As soon as I found out there was a possiblity of pregnancy, I went to get my bloods tested for Toxoplasmosis. The results came back as In I had them in the past but are not active. I have read everywhere online that it can be reactivated after pregnancy. Also read that you can still transmit it to your unborn child if you have had it with in 6 months of conception. I am so lost and scared, I dont want anything to happen to my child. What is the correct information? Some sites say 6 weeks, other 3 months and finally 6-9 months. Also have hypothyroid and some sites state that this will reactivate too? Is there a way in knowing as to when I may have contacted this bacteria? Thank you so much for your time....
