My daughter was 3 when she was diagnosed with tibial torsion by a peds. orthopedic surgeon at Arnold Palmer in FL. He has seen her 3 times since then, she is now 8 & the problem has worsened since. Both her feet plant at approx a 45 degree angle. She can no longer play soccer bc she literally trips over her feet and tires very easily. We have purchased inserts, high sole shoes, tried dance classes to strengthen muscles, chiropractic visits & are now considering physical therapy. I suffer from tibial torsion in my right foot still and worry that the problem will not remedy itself as we are continuously told. PLEASE HELP!
