Sensory issue behavior

My son is 13. He was diagnosed with ADD and a language based learning disability when he was 7. He has a few sensory issues. Mostly to loud sounds such as fire alarms and the basketball buzzer. Overtime he's learned to cope, but sometimes the anticipation is immobilizing. He does heavy work at school also, which seems to calm him. In the past few months he's shown some strange behavior that I'm wondering about. He's been taking his footy sleeper pajamas, and stuffing them with as many articles of clothing as he can fit in them and then he'll put more clothes like gym shorts on top of that....almost looking like Mr. Incredible from the movie, but I don't think that what he's trying to do. I somehow think he likes the pressure of the clothes? He won't tell me why. It's primarily frustrating because he's taking all his clean clothes out of his drawers or out of his basket, and them sometimes he'll hide them if he fears getting caught. I am considering making a box of clothes for just this purpose so he stops using his clean clothes and ruining his PJ's. He's already ruined a pair. He's not hurting himself or anyone else so was wondering is it wierd to just make it ok? Has this ever been heard of. Thanks for any feedback.
