I know there are lymph nodes located behind the knee what I would like to know is what are the possible symptoms if one of these were swollen, e.g. would there be an obvious lump, would the back of the knee look slightly larger than the other non-swollen leg, would the whole knee/leg swell up,would there be pain or is it possible that the symptoms would be practically unnoticeable. I ask because I have noticed that the left back knee on my daughter looks slightly larger than the right back of knee and she has also had a swollen lymph node in her neck (which several doctors and a specialist have stated is not very large or much of a concern). Any information would be greatly appreciated.
