My three year olds skin on fingertips started peeling at the beginning of the week. Called nurse and she said she'd seen that post strep infections. Took him in to Dr next day and he tested positive for strep. NO SYMPTOMS! The only thing he did complain about was his stomach hurting twice, but it was after he had large glasses of choc. milk. Thought it was that. He has been playing/eating/sleeping great. About two weeks ago, he had a wet cough (along with all the kids in his class) that lasted about a week and a half. Ran fever two days (not high). Feeling like a bad mother for not catching this sooner. Has anyone had any experience with this and the peeling?
