open fontanel in otherwise healthy 2 year old

our daughter just turned 2 and was found to have a persisting fontanel - thyroid test negative, preliminary skull x-ray, negative, no noted developmental or neurologic delays, no other symptoms noted. my concern/question is the possibility that i transmitted lyme disease to her in utero or through breast milk and this could be the cause. or, i have taken paxil for several years, and was on 75 mg paxil cr prior to discovering i was pregnant - i conceived on january 16th and found out i was pregnant early february 2009, at which time i stopped all paxil. if my daughter's skull is forming normally and there are no other syndromes causing this, what are the next steps?? what if the soft spot does not close?? how long will a pediatrician leave the soft spot open?? any help is greatly appreciated! we have a ct scheduled for mid december, during which they will have to sedate our daughter. this is all so frightening.
