My son developed a rash about 7 weeks ago that has stumped several doctors. It started in a line on his shoulder blade. The spots were pale at first but a little red. They itched. Then more trail like lesions showed up mid back. He never had a fever. He complains here and there of a stomach ache but nothing bad. After ca. 6 weeks our neighbor develoed the same rash on his shoulder, but his never spread as the doctor advised to give Benedryl right away, while we are still seeing new lesions pop up and the itching continues. I treated the spots with antibiotic cream and bandages, Bendryl and oatmeal baths for the itching. Any insight what might be happening Dr. Greene? Thank you!!
