Hyperthyroidism

I have a 3 year old daughter who has always had a low weight issue. she actuallt fell off the growth chart at her 2 year check up, but is now in the 12th percent for weight, but 80 percent for height. she is a very picky eater, so we started giving her chewable vitamins and seems to be liking them a lot. she is now 29 pounds at the age of 3. i am very concerned. we took her to the childrens institute for a feeding evaluation and they found no underlying problem. the specialists told me that she's just picky. i was watching a program today and a woman called with a question about her 3 year old daughter having a hairy back legs and upper lip and they had mentioned hyperthyroidism. my daughter is the same way, hairy back and legs, but it's light hair so you can't see it, but it's there. i was wondering if this was a true symptom of hyperthyroidism and if maybe my daughter should be tested for it.
