Bee sting reaction or just a rash?

A couple weeks ago, I was stung by a yellow jacket behind my knee. It left it's stinger in me and I pulled it out. It hurt for several hours after (I was not in a place with any medications), I used ice on it. It swelled around the spot and eventually started itching, which lasted for several days after and a good 3 inch area around it turned red and swelled slightly as well. Last week I spent the week with my aunt, the sting had mostly became just a scab then. But I wound up scratching it once more while there and made it bleed. A few hours later I started to break out all over in some sort of rash, it looked like multiple bug bites or hives, they spread all over and were extremely itchy. Even more so when any of the affected places would get warm. Now almost a week after that, the rash has started to go away and the bumps are scabbing over though still slightly itchy. Earlier today I scratched one of the scabs too hard and it began to bleed. Within the hour the arm I had scratched has begun to break out in the rash again. Does anyone know if this could be related to the bee sting or something else? No type of topical medicine or even anti-histamine pills seems to help!
