dr. rebecca hicks
Born and raised in southern California, Rebecca Hicks is a resident physician for the Department of Pediatrics at University of California, Irvine. She served as a Student Health Advocate at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was accepted as a Regent’s Scholar. As Student Health Advocate, she gained clinical exposure and provided health education to fellow students on a daily basis.

After working for a pharmaceutical company as a validation engineer, Dr. Hicks decided she wanted to help patients more directly. She enrolled at the University of Southern California for medical school, specializing in pediatrics.

Dr. Hicks sees every interaction with children and parents as an opportunity to make a positive, lasting impact in their lives. Currently, she is the residency program’s delegate to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and believes in a policy of health insurance for all children.

Dr. Hicks has been an avid reader since youth, and she enjoys participating in a monthly Book Club.
