"What's Up, Doc?" -- A Creative Way to Promote Veggies

Pass the carrots. Chuck Jones, the creator of Bugs Bunny, recently died at age 89. I asked my kids to each munch a carrot in honor of the passing of this man who did so much work that kids have enjoyed. We chose little organic carrots that still had the greens on them, so they could munch like Bugs. Today, so many movie and sports icons are associated with Cheeseburger Cheery Meals, of one sort or another, that it is a real delight to link a healthy veggie to honoring a star. If we play it right, this 'positive veggie moment' might last the entire year -- or even longer. What's up, doc? Creative ways to help kids enjoy healthy eating. If you've got ideas, share them here.
