How can consumers know they are buying the right hand hygiene product?

Consumers should read the product label to determine the active ingredient. The CDC Web site (www.cdc.gov) is a wonderful resource for general information about preventing infections. Consumers can also log onto the manufacturers’ product Web sites to learn more about how each product works to fight germs.
